The following fiscal note was submitted by the Rules Committee: Zero fiscal note, House Rules Committee, 2/24/99 Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Green: Page 1, line 1: (technical title amendment) Delete "a recess" Insert "two recesses" Delete "a period" Insert "periods" 1999-02-24 House Journal Page 0304 SCR 5 Page 1, line 11, following "other": Insert "; and be it FURTHER RESOLVED by the Alaska State Legislature that the Senate and the House of Representatives may be in recess during April 2, 3, 4, and 5 of 1999, and that each house concurs in this four-day recess by the other" Representative Green moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Berkowitz objected and withdrew the objection. There being no further objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted and the new title appears below: SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 5 am H Authorizing two recesses by the Senate and the House of Representatives for periods of more than three days. The question being: "Shall SCR 5 am H pass the House?"
